Lamex Foods A.B. was opened in 1995 in Helsinborg, Sweden to take advantage of opportunities arising from the entry of Finland and Sweden into the E.U.

Specialising originally in the import and export of fruit and vegetables, including puree and concentrates for the manufacturing industry in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, sales have grown rapidly and now incorporate poultry, honey and spices to a variety of customers across Scandinavia.
