LAMEX Foods HOLLAND

Lamex Foods B.V. was opened in 1989 and was based in Doetinchem, Holland to focus on trade with the Eastern Bloc. With the dramatic political changes in that part of the world during the 1990's, Lamex was well placed to secure exclusive supply lines of fruit and vegetables and quickly became one of the largest importers/exporters to and from Eastern Europe.

The Far-East also became a major market for Lamex BV in the 1990's, particularly in pork and poultry products and the company grew rapidly thereafter, expanding into the Middle East and Africa with a cross section of products.
